Cardinal Warriors Private Military School and history of Private Military Schools in India

Cardinal Warriors Private Military School is an unaided CBSE-affiliated school seeking affiliation from the Sainik School Society under the New Sainik School Policy. An inspection has been done by the Sainik School Society which was done by the District Magistrate, Principal Ambikapur Sainik School, and Navodaya Mana but the recognition has not been received yet.

The country’s private military school was established in 1935 by the Central Hindu Military Education Society with the aim of sending officers of Indian origin to the army before the country’s independence. Because at that time white officers in the army used to command the Indian soldiers.

Today, there are private military schools aided by the state government in every district of Maharashtra, and Cardinal Warriors and Amity Military College in Manesar, Gurgaon are non-aided schools.

The initial survey for the New Sainik School Policy was done by Col Sukhbir Singh in our former school which was reported to Gen Khandare DG Defense Intelligence Agency presented by Smt Nirmala Sitharaman in the budget session and passed by the cabinet. The memento of the Defense Intelligence Agency is still kept in our school.

Like Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun, Sainik School Society was formed in 1961 and Sainik Schools were opened in every state. Today, under the New 100 Sainik Schools Policy, private NGO-run schools are being given affiliation to the Sainik School Society and there is a plan to have 1000 Sainik Schools in the future.

The aim of these schools is to prepare students for the Military Academy (NDA) with the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and patriotism among the students. Here also with the same objective, the cadet has to prepare for the NDA examination and Service Selection Board interview conducted by UPSC by developing the physical and intellectual ability of the cadet in the Sainik School Routine.

Various activities are conducted for the all-round development of the cadets. Sahas provides training through adventure camps and horse riding, debates and lectures for public speaking, extra classes for NDA, IIT, NEET, etc., PT for stamina, and drills for discipline.

Hostel facilities are also provided to higher-class teachers and cadets.

Major Praveen Singh, Chairman of the Management Committee of the School, has been the Best Cadet Commissioned in Artillery and has the experience of being Commandant of a Private Military School, Gondia for 9 years.

Major Praveen Singh (Retd) has also been the Commandant of the Special Police Training Center Boregaon for two years and trains the students of Chhattisgarh and provides guidance for selection in the Armed Forces
